After we were lucky enough to buy a plot on the Volga with a small with a house, we immediately moved there and began to equip our new cottage. The house is old, without any amenities. Toilet on the street, water in a well in the yard. We who accustomed to urban comfort, even the weekend was difficult to spend here. Investigate

money to conduct sewer, put a septic tile, etc., until it makes no sense, especially since we go to the cottage together with my wife and only for the weekend. Decided to do what simpler. With the "toilet" problem coped quickly: bought relay. Spent water (pump pumps water from a well, which flows into the house on plastic pipes).
If there is water, then there must be drain on the cottage. Put the sink in the kitchen. The plastic siphon was attached to it downstairs, and it is a plastic corrugated hose, which enters the plastic pipe 6 mm. At the bottom of the walls did a hole and brought the pipe to the street. For this, the plastic "knee" was used, connecting pipes at an angle. Proked the trench about 3 m and put the pipe into it. The ditch was pulled out with a slope so the stock was good.
Then took up digging and arrangement of drain pit. Yam dug up quickly. Its dimensions are small: depth and diameter -1.5 m.
At the bottom of the pit put a leaf of an old slate, the second was laid across. So the "cross-cross" laid the entire pit without reaching the upper edge of the pit approximately 25 cm.
Since the ditch went to the ground under the slope, it turned out to be lower than the top edge of the pit. Inserted the pipe between slate sheets somewhere in the middle of the height of the entire slate "stack".
25 cm remaining to the upper edge of 25 cm launched slate loushes (put vertically). The resulting deepening threw the earth. From above, the wife also planted flowers!
We use this drain for 3 years. Never have any problems arose. Water from the pit is simply absorbed into the ground (since it is light, sandy). Suggested me such a neighbor, also a dacnik. He with his family of 3 people enjoys such a drain here for 7 years.
On a note:

In a country house, it makes sense to establish a waste chopper in the kitchen sink. First, in this case, you do not threaten the clogging of the pipes for which the drain goes. Secondly, the water from the sewage will be well absorbed through the drainage. If the pit and have to pump out, it is very rare.
