No one will argue that the main volume of work on the site, and with it and the total physical costs per season fall on the operation of the soil.

Complex, but mandatory work
Every garden worker has experience as

the rule, there are several structural variants of the rippers to work on different land areas of the site: for loosening garden beds, handling shrub plantings and the rich circles of fruit trees and, finally, to courting the flower household.
The operation of loosenings in physical exertion is medium-proof, but at the same time not to get away from a variety, depending on the processing zones, television options. And this especially complicates the conduct of high-quality work of older workers, to which I am.

Change the design
I chose for the manufacture of the ripper "for yourself" the design of serial lawn scissors with a long handle. This tool has a mechanism, the kinematics of which and the design as a whole make it possible to make a simple refinement, putting a ripper instead of scissors. After removing the standard cutting blades using a screwdriver and without performing any mechanical improvements of the sheard housing, I secured on the same places of fastening and the same screws your power work part of the ripper (seen in the photo).
For better move and clutch with soil, I installed a more powerful reference wheel on the instrument, providing it with spikes.

The working part of the pre-view - I made a 1.5 mm thick of iron. The regular wheels of scissors, if desired, can be removed or left, loosening they do not interfere.

For any work
In fact, this design turned out to be universal, with the possibility of loosening both in beds and under any shrub in a convenient for a worker pose, without excessive gestures, only by moving the tool and pressing the knobs levers.
