In your country, we made and installed a windmill. Because we have a small plot, we installed the windmill on the roof of the barn. Before taking making a windmill, studied photos of vintage windmills.
In the sections of 40 × 40 mm, there were 10 × 15 mm grooves and gathered a frame. In the grooves put the lining. The top of the pyramids "stitched", set the headband in the form of a hexagon prism.
For the roof, hexagon was on the roof at the beginning of the plywood. In the corners set columns with grooves and tied them with each other at the top and below. The space between the columns again "sewed" with the clapboard. In one of the walls made a technology window - to arrange the shaft with blades on the headband. In the center of the base, the hexagon rack was installed, and the rafters were attached to the angular columns with grooves for roofing (lining, siding, tin). The finished headband secured on the housing.
He took up work on the blades. Initially, 30x50x1200 mm bars collected in the floor

tree Cross. The blades of 20x135x600 mm fastened in it. In order for the crosses with the blades to rotate easily, they set it on the shaft with bearings (they used the coolant served in the "Zhiguli").
The wrapper was watered on the roof of the windmill - the jacket rotating in the bearing. It is a flashing purple LED in a plastic tube (powered by a battery or from a network via a transformer). At the entrance to the windmill there is a miller with wide arms - welcoming guests to us.
It is nice to admire the rotation of the windmill blades at the slightest blow of the wind. And at dusk - blinking of the LED of the Fllugger, the impression that another star is burning in the sky - man-made.
