However, solid rocks are difficult to handle, and some of them cannot be adjusted to the desired dimensions manually. With soft wood, such problems will not arise - it is easily processed by any manual instrument - however, the structure is not so dense and quickly impregnated with moisture.

Soft wood breeds are cheaper than solid, and many economical owners are guided by this principle of selection. But for the design of the exterior it is better to use a dense and solid wood, as it will last at times longer.

What breeds of wood can be used to build terrace fence:

Larch is a rather durable breed, which is nevertheless manual processing. In terms of its qualitative indicators, larch is practically not inferior to the oak, so it occupies a leading position among wood for outdoor decoration.
Ash is one of the most dense woods. This option could be called perfect for a terrace if it were not for an emergency sensitivity of ash atmospheric. It quickly loses its density due to ultraviolet rays, temperature and humidity differences, so it is better to use it for interior decoration.
Spruce is a sufficiently soft breed, however, it is recommended to use only thermally processed fir, because then it becomes much stronger than raw.
Oak - the best material for internal and external finishes. The unique texture of oak wood is characterized by the highest density, high resistance to abrasion, beautiful pattern and enviable durability. From oak you can do literally anything - at least fences, even the floors for the terrace. The only thing that can confuse is a high cost. Over time, Oak acquires a noble grayish tint, which only increases its value. The "crude" oak itself is resistant to aggressive atmospheric influences, but there is also a starving oak - wood, long time soaked in water. Such a fence for the terrace will last a whole century, but you should be careful - the moon oak is so durable that only powerful professional tools can cope with it.
Bamboo - original material for making a terraced fence. Durable and easy, it can be used for decorative purposes and will ensure the reliability of the entire design.

Trees such as birch, pine and linden are not suitable for the exterior finish, at least many dacms are actively trying to use them in this way. This material is deprived of all the shortcomings of the above-described rocks, and for this reason it is actively used for construction not only fences for the terraces, but also garden tracks, arbors, etc. DPK was created specifically for outdoor decoration and construction outside the house. The material is a comprehensive system made of a mixture of recycled wood and polymer components. This mixture is extruded, resulting in compressing under strong pressure and temperature, and it turns out incredibly durable and completely waterproof products of any shapes and colors.

Wood-polymer composite appeared relatively recently, but immediately conquered the market for finishing materials. For its production, the waste of the woodworking industry is used - chips and sawdust. After mixing with synthetic components, the mass is subjected to molding under pressure. DPK can be given any shape, including the imitation of wood texture. Color can also be anyone, so you can absorb the imitation of the elite breed of wood at times cheaper than the original.

The advantages of the wood-polymer composite are incredibly many, but we will dwell only on those that are relevant for the terrace fences. So, as a result of specific processing and molding, the product is perfectly smooth and smooth, as we remember, it is important for good railing. To increase strength and aesthetics, each DPK product is covered with a thin layer of polyvinyl chloride. It makes the surface pleasant to the touch, shiny and additionally protects against atmospheric phenomena. The material is fully chemically inert, which means it is not able to allocate harmful substances into the environment, even as a result of heating under the right sunlight.

DPK is modular designs, which means the following - you can independently erect any designs and implement any fantasy, combining various profiles. At the same time, the result of your works will last much longer than if they did the same out of durable wood. In the DPK, there are also wood components, but a balanced mixture with polymer components makes the material almost eternal. He does not rot, the mold does not grow on it, insect pests do not destroy it. The cost of the material may seem overpriced, but it is only as long as you do not remember its unpretentiousness and durability. Wooden fence with your own hands

As a rule, any wooden products that will be used outside the house are manufactured on a special woodworking equipment, after which they are collected manually. For fixing, self-sufficiency, screws and weather-resistant glue are used. Before assembling the fence for open terraces, all elements should be impregnated with an antiseptic composition. Installation of fence
