In the household flower, I have been doing the first year. Somehow, the question of the composting of plant residues was acute: for the territory of the flower garden to place a compost bunch of no means, in the flower bed itself - it is not eaten, to buy a ready-made composter - expensive.
After breaking the head, I decided to make a composter, which would not be just a useful construction, but also the decoration of the site. For example, in the form of a decorative well. For example, we build a bath together with your husband for more than one year, but not because lazy or lack of materials for construction, just my imagination constantly demands to create something beautiful and unusual, so we alternate a bath on my site for the third time. Without making it to the end of the bathhouse, we began to make a decorative well-composter, as the flowers for me are the first importance.
So let's proceed:
The housing of the well has a size of 100x100x90 cm. The roof is covered with wooden tiles in two rows.
I did this "tile" myself. Ipowed the board of the desired size. On the one hand, the edge of the ducts rounded with the help of an electric bike. "Tile" of the lower row made a 5 cm longer "Tiles" of the upper row: the boulders must be screwed to the mustache, and some of the extra centimeters goes under the top row.
The roof of the well is attached to 2 vehicles 50 × 150 mm. All the details of their facilities have impact the colors of the "Kaluzhnitsa" colors. This impregnation is to protect wood from the formation and distribution of mushrooms, mold and other types of biodegraders, as well as to prevent wood infecting insect pests and woody blue. Yes, and the color turned out to be nice.
In the body of the well, I was helped to put an old holey (for better aeration of the compost) barrel.
I am pre-outside and inside with the primer, and then painted in green. The space between the body of the well and the barrel fell asleep with sawdust.
To make a well-composter to have a well-groomed appearance, on top of a barrel filled with vegetable residues, I embalted fertile land and planted gentle petunias and a bright native.
