Decorative reservoir
Going to create in my garden decorative reservoir, first thing I chose a suitable place for him. They were protected from wind and outdoor sunshine plot. Then I dug up with a depth of about 0.5 m. The bottom of the pit was laid out with a layer of river sand.
The next my step was the preparation of waterproofing material. Different types of such material can be bought in the store. I had the opportunity to purchase the old one who served his advertising banner. The role of the second layer was removed with a dense polyethylene film of black. It is black, since this color does not reflect the sun's rays, which means that the water in the water body will warm up better.
At first, I put a banner on the bottom of the bottom, and the film folded into 3 layers and, measuring the desired size with a margin on the edge of 40-50 cm wide, also stuck it to be caught.
Then filled the pond with water and began to decorate it. The surplus of the film in the ground, the "shore" laid out the natural stone. Around Lily, forget-me-not, hostess. Ferns, soil plants and small shrubs are very nice here.
The pond has placed the elevated flowerbed, which landed perennials. But annuals on it also hide. Floweruba, I supplemented the composition of the jug and stones. It seems that the water is constantly filled with water from the jug (although, of course, I add water to it with a pump and hose).
Decided to ride and the water surface. For this plant from the natural reservoir planted into the cropped dark plastic bottles filled with river sand and stones, and installed bottles on the bottom. Plants in my pond kneaded and even bloom.
The graceful heron was settled here, and a variety of duck. Let them and decorative, but but the essential inhabitants of the water element. The architecture and design of the decorative reservoir creates some kind of fabulous atmosphere, all family are satisfied.
The frogs immediately chose a new dwelling, and over time I launched into my water branch and karasiks. They adapted to new conditions without any problems and for the summer they have noticeably grown. It is a pity that the autumn had to move them to the previous place, and the pond drag. But in the spring, we again filled the water mixer with a new life.
