An unusual decorative garden using ancient experience, I "created" in the near Moscow area of \u200b\u200b20 acres. His owners wanted to grow strawberries, fresh greens and vegetables to the table. But at the same time they did not want the garden to throw into the eyes and portor the garden landscape.
I solved the garden (size of 6 × 8 m) to "trigger" into the soil, the height difference (0.5 m) to be issued by retaining walls from sandstone-tiltry. On one of the narrow sides of the rectangle to make a protrusion (1 × 2 m) for the bench. On the opposite side, behind the retaining wall, lay out a slightly more than a meter from the stone, which would separate the garden from the site with a small pool and fountain. And for descent to the garden to arrange a passage of a meter width stirring steps.
It is known that the "peaked" vegetable garden cannot be equipped without drainage. Water always drains where below. Therefore, without high-quality drainage, the garden after the rain turns into the pool. Moreover, in the site, the garden is located in the lower part of the gentle slope. At the "heated" platform with the beds there is a bias (for each meter of the length of the plot of height drop -1 cm), which is directed towards the bench. Along this lower side, the concrete tray was laid in depth and width of 20 cm. The bottom of the tray with a slope (2 cm per meter) in one direction. The tray was covered with gravel and joined the plastic pipe with a drainage well, which is outside the garden. It consists of 4 concrete rings with a diameter of 1 m. Three upper rings are located in a low-dimensional tight soil, and the bottom ring stands on the sand (such geology in this place).

Initially, such paths seem wide, but when vegetables are gaining strength and leaves begin to freeze from beds, it becomes clear that with narrower aisles you have to step on the greens . The maximum width of the beds -1 m, from the passage it is easy to reach up to the middle of the landing. On the perimeter of each bed installed boards. Such flights with a height of 10 cm interfere with the scattering of the Earth on the tracks, emphasize the beautiful geometry of the garden and give it a finished appearance.
Under the tracks, the workers first made a concrete base, and then laid on the solution tangled sandstone (tiles with retreated faces). Under the garden, the surface of the earth was not concreted. The soil substrate was prepared from a sublinka, low peat and sand, which was mixed in proportions 1: 1: 1. In reasonable doses, a complex mineral fertilizer was added.
Around the garden landed fruit trees and shrubs (apple trees, cherries, plums, raspberries, currants, black rowan mall). I like it when the fruit garden and the garden form a single "edible" zone. The base of the stone screen has placed the seedlings of actinidia, which should be picturesquely decorate the masonry. If you look at the garden from the house, he is hidden behind the living hedge of the deresses of Siberica.
