Technical progress has come to replace fluffy carpets - warm floors, which are increasingly installed in apartments, and dachas, and even in garages.
They are several species, but electric heap floors are most popular.
To install this type of floor, you need to competently install the heating cable, then connect it to electricity. It is very easy to control these floors - with the help of a thermostat, even a child can establish the desired temperature in the room.
In order to install an electric heating floor independently, you must follow the following instructions:
1. The wall is knocked out at an altitude of about a meter into which the thermostat is installed.
2. To the installation site, you must bring the phase, grounding and zero from the distribution panel.
3. In the floor you need to pierce the groove, in which two plastic pipes are placed, in one of which the power wires of the heating cable must be placed, and in the second - the floor sensor wiring.
4. Now you need to level the floor surface.
5. We are placing thermal insulation with a thickness of at least 2 cm.
6. On the heat insulation, we place the editing film that will fix the cable. The cable is preferably laying the "snake" so that the floor is heated evenly in all places. But the method of laying is not principled, it is possible to have it in any order.
7. To the thermostat box you need to stretch the power wires. The coupling should be located in the concrete screed.
8. Now you can set the floor temperature sensor. To do this, first insert a plastic tube in the wall of the stroke. It needs to be stretched between the heating cable lines. The end of the tube is wrapped with a tape so that when installing a screed, a solution has not come to it.
9. It is necessary to measure the resistance of the heating cable using the tester. Its value should not be different than 10% differ from the passport.
10. We proceed to the fill of the cement-sanding screed with a thickness of at least 5 cm.
11. After the scum is dried, you can connect the heating cable. To do this, connect the power supply and temperature sensor to the thermostat. The chain closes the wiring that feeds the finished system.
The service life of a properly installed electric floor is approximately 15 years. But in favorable conditions, this period may be larger, which will increase the term of comfort by the use of a warm floor.
