Most often, the drywall is glued in places where it is impossible or difficult to make finishing with a spatula, or when it simply don't want to bother with a long plastering.
In order to glue drywall to a smooth wall, you need to first check the evenness of this wall with a building level. If there is a small deviation on the wall (about 5 mm), then you can glue drywall to it using a conventional gypsum putty, look even on the range of corners for aluminum profiles.
The first thing from the wall is removed all dust, oil spots and dirt. You also need to make sure that the wall is completely dry. Further, to reduce the absorption of moisture from the glue and to enhance the adhesion the wall must be covered with primer. Plasterboard sheets need to be trimmed so that after gluing they do not get to the floor of the floor no more than 1.5 cm. The last sheet near the corner is also cut to the required width. You will also need to make holes for all switches and sockets.
Gypsum putty is applied with solid stripes using a special gear spatula. The width of the bands around the perimeter should be 120-150 mm and several lanes in the center of the sheet. In those places where an increased load will be provided on the sheet (the kidney is hung or the tile is glued), as well as in all places of the adjoining to the door and window openings, the putty is recommended to be applied to the entire surface of the plasterboard sheet. To accidentally do not break the sheet, before applying the putty, it must be placed on the frame of wooden strokes in those places where it will stick.
After the putty is applied, the sheet must be accurately lifted, install on special lining thick of about 1.5 cm and press the wall as close as possible. All filamentous parts of the sheet are determined by level and smoothed by pressing. All sheets of sheets also need to sharpen. All gaps between the floor and sheets of drywall should be embedded using sealant and putty, after which the plinth is glued.
