Growing coffee from seeds and cuttings

Two dozen years ago I was brought from Brazil a small bush coffee. Above one and a half meters, I did not give him a growing, transplant it constantly, almost every 2-3 years. Washed the old soil, the roots cut and updated, without damaging the upper part of small roots. After such a "reservation", the roots of the dip in a pre-cooked crucible bolt and an old cowboy with the addition of 5 g korevin, replaced drainage in a pot. From above, after the transplantation of the plant, a humus was added, which contributes to the formation of the filamentous roots of coffee.

The bush gave up to 1.5 kg of grains. Eight years ago I gave it. But I had a few more fruiting plants that I got from the Chernok "Brazilian".
But even the plant grown from seeds already for the 3-4th year fruit. The seeds purified from the pulp are usually washed in a weak solution of manganese. In the boxes at a height of 5-8 cm puffed a loose substrate from the turf, leaf slowing and sand. I am doing easier: I take a row large sand and a keen peat. Seeds with a flat side put on top of the soil, watering, covering with glass or tightly taking the box with a film. I keep it at a temperature of 20-28 °.

It boosts coffee in 3-9 weeks. With the appearance of two real leaves, we sear the plants in the pots.

When breeding with cuttings, patience is necessary - the root formation lasts 3-5 months. But in the first year you can see the fruits. I cut off on the cuttings. Young shoots (with a piece of last year's wood). You can cut the cuttings for the day in the root formation stimulator, and you can plunge into the cornerin before planting. Blowing the cuttings into a substrate by 3-5 cm, after which I water with a solution of Kornin (4-5 g per 5 liters of water). Otherwise, everything is like under green stallion.
In the summer, the coffee tree is hard to transfer the straight sun rays, burns appear on the leaves. I put it under a spreader kiwi. In winter, the tree "stands near the southern window.
And I still have to say that in winter the edges of the leaves are sometimes raised in winter. Blame "Three": care, soil, temperature. Frequent watering of "any" water, too dense carbonate soil, lack of drainage, long-term low (up to 12e) temperature, lack of potassium - all this affects the condition of the coffee tree in the best way. In winter, it is necessary to dramatically reduce watering (and if we water, it is warmer by water with 2-3 ° ,. than the thermometer shows in the room), refuse to make fertilizers.
Coffee tree can bloom almost a year, filling the room with an excellent aroma.
