This impression was happening when I first saw blossoms in the picture clerodendrum Ugandysky. The tops of all twigs were conquered by blue flower, very similar in shape on the butterflies.
When the cuttings have grown a little, pinned the tops for adhesive. The formation is not worth postponing, since the branches of Clerodendrum quickly at the bottom weighing and gradually lose the leaves. Over time, the stalks even acquire the type of lianas and require a cardinal spring trimming. This year, his bush cut off half and put on top of the package.
In the conditions of high humidity, the formation of numerous lateral shoots began. Such a magnificent appearance I didn't even expect to get. The leaves have a specific smell, maybe therefore pests do not attempt to this clergendrum.
As a result of rapid growth in the first year I got a good bush. On the flowering of Clerodendrum, of course, did not count and in the fall gradually began to prepare him for the winter holiday. At the same time, it cut a little irrigated and determined the plant on a cooler window sill closer to the glass. But Clerodendrum still demanded daily irrigation, showing his discontent with lowered leaves. A complete surprise for me was the appearance of floral buds.
As a result, the pot had to move away from the glass and begin to feed the fertilizer, but in a smaller concentration than in the summer. For the first time, my Ugandan Clerodendrum bloomed in winter.
Despite the exotic appearance of the flowering plant, it is generally not very demanding. He needs a bright location without direct sunlight, nutrients during growth and flowering and increased humidity. I try to spray it every day and water timely. But it should be avoided by the convergence and drying of the soil, due to which the leaves can get yellow and fall.
Clerodendrum grows rapidly, and in the summer it may occur as the need for transshipment to a greater pot.
In summer, the plant is covered with butterfly with butterflies and fascinates with its beauty again.
