At the beginning they grew slowly, but then the pot filled. Very weak died in a common pot. There are five young plants, which seeded in two small pots (12 cm in diameter). By the autumn was convinced: it was better to grow in the first. But in the end, everyone bloomed. The flowering peak would be much earlier, but the long-term abnormal heat in July-September was prevented. Plants with already proposed boutons stopped in growth. "Woke up" as follows only by the end of September-beginning of October, and here they have shown themselves in all its glory.
I heard that I did not welcome the reproduction of the Achimensov scales, they breed them preferably with stalling. It believes that plants will grow out of the scales, which in the first year will be weak, will not give abundant flowering.
Based on personal experience, I would not agree with this. At the peak of vegetation, the plants were quite strong, they gave many side shoots, and on peace I sent them forcibly in mid-November forced circumstances. A little excavating the soil, found that each escape gave three or four rhizomes (not small - medium), while the cuttings planted at the beginning of the summer - only one or two rhizas (though, a little more important).
Perhaps, and even certainly not with all the varieties (and maybe with the species) Achimesis, this experiment can be repeated so successfully.
