For grapes there is no greater misfortune than frost. And in this winter he tried great - he passed for minus 20 °. It hurts to look at what turned with love grown and exhausted. But there is nothing to do, you need to think how to correct the position. And, above all, it is pruning. Here the usual rules will not help.
If grape bushes are a bit, then I advise you to trim the vine on swelling eyes. So you can see where and which kidname is extincting to form the necessary load. Well, if the vineyard is big, then we do differently. Sut off from different bushes each variety of ten vines with the first eye and put them in a bucket with water. After a week, the sharp blade cut off the halves of the eye so that all the kidneys were visible (central and replacing), and determine the dead and alive. The first will be gray or brown, and the second is green. If dead kidneys are more than 90%, then you cut grapes for 2-3 peels, and if less, then for the future harvest we will fight. I was inherited by the vineyard, but it was not in the best condition. I had to work hard to bring it in order. The main mischief was a mosaic disease. It is noteworthy that the sick bushes in the first year developed normally, but then the growth of new shoots slowed down and the yield decreased.
As a rule, signs of illness appear at the end of May-June. It is in the fact that it is transmitted to healthy plants from patients. It often happens during vaccinations, and also transferred to the sucking insects. Most of all suffer from weakened vine.
As soon as I encountered this misfortune, I began to carefully examine new seedlings before boarding. In the satellites of the flowing lots, patients of plants emerged.
It was struggling with sucking pests and sprayed them with a solution of ferrous vapor (10 g on the water of water). In the autumn or early in the spring around the patients of bushes, I make grooves and I put 150 - 400 g of ferrous vapora, then watering water and fall asleep the earth.

I was fascinated by the cultivation of grapes four years ago. But then I became interested in cutting varieties. At first, the seedlings of two varieties were acquired: phenomenon and cache. The third year received on one large brush of grapes. Now I have 17 table grapes.
So, the harvest is assembled. Storage of grapes is a delicate matter, so I proceed most of juicy berries in the wine, which is then used throughout the year. Now it is necessary to properly prepare grape vines for winter. The last authority over the row watering is spent before the shelter of grape bushes.
Then on the turn of the trimming. Usually it is done after leaffall. But in our black soot of a natural leaf fall, because the vine does not have time to ripe it completely, and the foliage begins to be discharged only after the onset of the first frosts. Therefore, 2-3 weeks before their occurrence, I spend the spraying of ka-liino-phosphorous fertilizers to strengthen and accelerate the ripening of the vines, successfully converting them.
In mid-October, proceed to trimming grape bushes. You need to have time to hide the bushes with dry weather.
