The new season came, and together with him came a new troublesome time at the apiary. Among the many problems faced by beekeepers during this period, it should be especially important to build the strength of bee families in front of the main medical board, obtaining a qualitative crop, the fight against pests and diseases, preparation for wintering. I want to share my experience in this area and give several practical advice.
Coniferous subcord
The intensive development of the bee family, the increase in its productivity and strengthen resistance to a number of common diseases contributes to the fake based on coniferous infusion. I cook it like this: I take 1 kg of crushed fresh needles ate or pines, insist 3 h in 4 liters of hot water (80-90 °). On 1 liter of syrup (50% sugar and 50% water) add 250 g of infusion.
I gave the resulting feeder for the night of each family, poured into the feeder inside the hive of 0.5-1 liters.
Fighting tick
Greater assistance in the fight against the worst enemy of bees - mite of warroytrosis - can enact familiarization of families with dried rhizome horn. His billets lead in July-September. Dropped roots cleaning from the ground, ruble into small cubes and dried in the shade at room temperature. For the treatment and prevention of the disease, I put 1 tablespoon of dry rhizomes into a buried pier. Having done 3-4 pitching in the lower flyer of the hive, I close it for 30 minutes. At the same time it is useful to use the Plistener - a small grid, under which a sheet of thick paper is mounted, lubricated with solidol or sunflower oil. Upon completion of the procedure, paper with shuffled ticks remove and burn. Eroticizing spending 3 times in spring and 3 times in the fall with weekly interruptions.
Flowers of Pijmas
A tablespoon of honey for the night provides healthy and strong sleep. In addition, its daily use improves blood composition and normalizes metabolism.
To reduce the threat of a tick, the prevention of honeycomb, wax mole and scaring mice from the bee nest using the Flowers of the Pijmas. The inflorescences I collect in July, tying in bouquets of 5-7 pieces and dried in the shade outdoors. In the hive I lay on the canvas on 3rd beam. For the same purposes, wormwood, elderberry, rustic and lubber are well suited.
Mushroom Trover.
Dried mushroom-drumper helps quickly and reliably. In addition, browlas (bee lice bee) are crumbled from the smoke of the mushroom-drum. Tleya, it highlights a large amount of thick white smoke.
This mushroom is usually found in Bereznyak, including on false trees. After the workpiece I share it into small pieces and soaked in a strong saltter solution.

Use gloves
To protect the hands of the beekeeper from the bites of bees will help subtle rubber gloves that are sold in pharmacies and shopping stores. They are very comfortable, since they do not constrain the movements of the beekeeper.
After working gloves, you need to turn inside out, dry in the shade and shipping with Talc.
Possend hives above
So that the bees have become less annoying, as well as less suffering from frogs, the toads, ants who say to penetrate the hive, I recommend to have bee houses as much as possible above the ground. For several years now I have been successfully using special platforms for hives. They are 1 × 1.5 m shields made from 4 cm thick boards. These shields are fastened with 4 vertical steel pipes with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 3-3.5 m, which are 70 cm around the ground. To avoid penetration Muravyov on the tube of the pipe in several places is cooled in a circle of solidol. In order to climb this design, I use a small garden staircase.
Sweets for wintering
When picking up the club, the bees for wintering do not forget to put 3-4 wooden straps with a cross section of 1 x1 cm. The bees can move from the frame to the frame as the feed eaten. Often, neglect of this simple advice leads to the death of a bee family in winter.
Honey at our request
It is noted that honey of the same variety can crystallize (sugar) in different ways.
Sometimes large crystals are formed, sometimes small, and so much that the consistency honey resembles a foiled butter. This process can be controlled - for this, in a jar of freshly still liquid honey, add a tablespoon of an old, already crystallized, with the consistency that I want to get in the end.

If stung bee
Over time, the butter is usually produced by immunity on bee bites. But there are cases when people who are not adapted to the bee poison are subject to the bee attack. Here I recommend quickly, but carefully remove the sting, and to the affected place to attach the pill of the validol or the split rolling of garlic. After a while, the pain subsides. When bite, several bees need to immediately take Tabel Tabel or Dimedrol. In serious cases, especially with the rapid development of an allergic reaction or bite in the language, the victim should be immediately delivered to the hospital.
