We got not the most even plot that delivered a lot of problems. Especially inconvenient was in the yard: the slope was sent to the house, water always flowed during the rains and from the snow driving, carrying a small garbage, leaves, branches.

We decided to eliminate this inconvenience. The platform in front of the house was leveled, and in the yard made some kind of steps. It turned out a terrace. I had to take out a lot of land, as the slope was cool. As a result, the height of the terrace is about 70 cm. The ledger was made with a bend - it is more convenient to pass to the cellar, and beautifully.
To strengthen the terrace, they decided to put the obset by stone - to do something like a border, but widespread. At first, the double formwork was installed and concrete flooded it inside. When pouring, the reinforcement was inserted into the formwork - metal rods. It turned out a concrete "belt" that fastened well to the terrace. Top on the concrete "belt" was tested, as a result of these manipulations, we had enough stone, which was generally a little (it helped to save what we were placed on his plastics).
The terrace was decided to "devote" flowers. Land overpowers, supported and landed tulips, forget-me-not, irises, roses and other flowers. They tried to "adjust" landing so that the flowerbed on the terrace bloom from early spring to autumn.
Very satisfied with the fact that the border did wide: it is convenient to put baskets with a harvest, which we collect on the plot, and vases with flowers.

So that it remains a piece of land. But the place for active Charge is also needed. Thought and made for Ludwig in a concrete "belt" arched entrance to his possession. It seems that the dog feels very comfortable and protected when it goes to relax on "his" territory.
The platform in front of the house laid out tiles. Now in the yard we are always dry and clean. As for beauty, the blooming flower bed on the hill is very impressive. By the way, the neighbors, the plot of which is also located on the slope, decided to take advantage of our example and make a similar terrace.
