For the preparation of a clay solution, a refractory or ordinary clay is used, which includes small sand without any impurities. The sand is not reasonable to be river, since because of smooth edges, it is badly connected with clay. The clay solution should have medium fat, that is, the composition of the 50/50 solution. For the preparation of the solution, river or rainwater is well suitable. Steel wire is needed to fasten the furnaces and tiles, the wire must be soft and thickness not higher than 2-3mm. Lime is used to prepare the solutions required when laying the foundations under the furnaces and fireplaces and the tip of the pipes that are usually located above the roof.
The furnace devices are more often purchased in the finished form. But some make themselves, using soft sheet steel for this, the needy thickness. The furnaces include plates, doors, dampers, valves, lattice, etc.
The furnace is elevated on a solid foundation, which can be both new and remaining from the old furnace or fireplace pre-replacing waterproofing. If the furnace is located near the wall, then it is recommended to leave the space no member 30-50mm, which is subsequently filled with sand. The masonry must have thin seams, straight angles and a smooth surface. In front of the masonry, lay out dry bricks into the future furnace form or fireplace for checking the dressings and thickness of the seams. Next, everything is laid out on the solution. Excess the solution you need to remove both inside and outside. The furnaces need to be laid as fast as possible. In order to make the right calculations and not mistaken when laying, it is recommended to consult with a specialist or hire a specialized brigade.
