Occupation is the most common way of vaccinations. It is well succeeded in most fruit breeds, the skillness of the kidneys under favorable conditions is very high (95% or more). The eyepiece is usually carried out at the end of summer - until mid-August with seeds, at the end of July - early August - in the bone fruit.
Five years ago, our son married, and my husband and I decided to leave a young family apartment, and bought a house with a big garden in the suburbs themselves. In the first year I was engaged only with flowers - I really love to grow them, and then, when apples, pears were kept in the fall, I realized that I had to do and garden. The trees were old - the crop was given. But to taste the fruits were not at all sweet and not fragrant. We thought with my husband - torturing the old trees and plant new ones with no strength or the time. Wait for ten years reluctance, so we decided where you can, make the vaccinations of the necessary varieties.
Unfortunately, I have no experience, I didn't have any husband, so for the first time we made mistakes, because of which half of the outlined trees remained not graft. According to the advice of experienced gardeners, we decided to first make vaccinations on cherry trees, and only then move to apple trees and pears. The shoots took from the neighbors to the next day to start "operations" the next day, but, unfortunately, the husband urgently caused the weekend to work, so I had to postpone the procedure. He began to work - it turned out that the shoots were entrusted: it turns out that they had to wrap a damp cloth and stored in a cool place, and I did not. Then we had problems with cutters, we made them wrong - you first need to make a transverse section somewhere 10 mm, then a longitudinal length of 30 mm, and we did not calculate and cut it much more, and it was also not focused enough to the ribbon. As a result, they did not fit we. Then, we continued with apple trees - here it's better to go better, the cutters got along, but we removed the winding in a month, and it was necessary, as it turned out, only to weaken her and remove it in the spring. Therefore, we normally arrived in our only part of the shoots. But those that managed to instill in the spring, actively went into growth and after a few years we gladly ate fragrant apples. Now there will be a new harvest of cherries and other apples, which in the end we still have been established.
