Fighting cabbage

I love to grow in a vegetable cabbage on the garden, the kochens are good, strong - not compare with the store. Yes, and from headaches they save me. That's just from time to time you have to fight with the main cabbage enemy - a butterfly-kapuette and her caterpillars. In the first years, when we had a plot, these pests have eaten a significant part of my crop, until finally I have learned to cope with them.
Here I can give a few tips. As soon as it is time for pokucling the caterpillars, I lay a brushwood around the planting of the cabbage, in which they are willing to be eagerly, after a while, this twig is needed to collect and burn. Against young cabbage larvae, I advise you to spray the ochemen cabbage with a solution of lime and salt (on 100 parts of water I take 3 parts of the salt and 2 parts of the lime). It should also be remembered that the next year it is impossible to squeeze the cabbage to the same beds, must go through at least four years.
