What is a eustoma

Eustoma is a decorative plant, which is reminded by a rose with its appearance. By the way, it is because of this similarity, he is called the Irish Rose. Such similarity is manifested only with not fully disclosed bud. When it reveals to the end, the eustoma flowers are more like a terry poppy.

Features of the cultivation of eustoms are as follows:

Grow this plant in our climate, despite the fact that it came from equatorial latitudes, not too difficult. It is only necessary to know the features of its landing and care.
The plant grows best with sufficient lighting. At the same time, it should be bright and scattered. Therefore, the trees should not be planted under dense crowns. If it grows at home in a pot, it is better to keep it on the windowsill on the east side. The room should have a normal temperature and excellent ventilation.
Eustoma has a too fragile root system. This is the main obstacle in the transplantation of the plant, it simply does not tolerate it, although it is conditionally considered to be perennial.
The plant is multiplied only by seeds. The cuttings simply do not have time to form a normal root system to their death.
For normal growth of the plant, he needs an optimal soil. The most suitable for eustoma is a mixture of humus from the bark of trees and peat in equal proportions.
